The City of Kaufman is embarking on an exciting new chapter and is inviting residents to help shape the community’s long-term vision. As part of the Comprehensive Plan update, the City is seeking input from community members to ensure Kaufman grows in ways that reflect the needs and values of its residents.
To gather ideas, the City will host a Community Open House on Thursday, November 20, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at the Kaufman Civic Center. This come-and-go event will provide an opportunity for residents to share their thoughts on growth, development, transportation, parks, housing, and the overall future of Kaufman. We want to hear directly from the people who live, work, and invest in Kaufman. Your ideas will help guide important decisions that will shape our community for years to come.
Residents who cannot attend the open house are still encouraged to participate. An online engagement portal is available where community members can share their vision, provide feedback, and participate in interactive planning tools.
