Parade Information

2025 Red, White, & BOOM Independence Parade with "Stars, Stipes & Freedom" themed floats, bands, and government officials.

The lineup will begin at the Kaufman Civic Center, 607 E. Fair St., from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. The parade will begin at 9:00 a.m. at S. Washington St. and US-175, travel north on S. Washington, continue around Downtown Square, and end at Shannon Park.

Participants must show up with only final touches remaining for decoration and all riders already on the float ready to go. 

**Trucks and trailers used to transport horses and ATVs need to be brought down to Shannon Park, as they are not to be taken back through town to be loaded.

Stars & Stride Strolling Parade

Stars & Stride is a parade featuring kids who decorate their own floats, bikes, strollers, or strut their Red White & Blue costume. Imagine a street lined with families and friends, all eagerly awaiting the start of the parade, with a festive atmosphere heightened by the patriotic decorations adorning buildings and supportive merchants.

The lineup will be on S. Jackson St., north of W. Cherry St., immediately following the regular parade. The strolling parade will begin approximately 15 minutes after the end of the regular parade moved through the square and will travel around the square twice.
